Over the last 17 years I have primarily worked with teenagers, in a variety of roles, and am lucky enough to continue working with children and young people through my work with the bereavement charity Mosaic. I enjoy working with adults as well and have a special interest in working with parents of children with additional needs. Also, people of all ages with anxiety, low self esteem, feelings of worthlessness or of being stuck and unable to move on.
My previous experience in developing corporate teams and helping individuals within them achieve their potential, led me to the wider field of Life Coaching. Realising the many cross-over skills I could take from corporate into counselling, I trained and qualified as a counsellor. I now work with people from the LGBT community and have developed a keen interest in helping people with poor self-esteem and the depression and anxiety that can be associated with it.
I have a great deal of experience in helping people through the tragic loss of a loved one, through my previous work with Cruse Bereavement Care. I also have a special interest in helping with traumatic childhood events, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and a variety of other issues.
